Dentists Marketing- Go Local!

Think LOCAL when you decide on doing marketing for your dental practice
. If I'm a dentist in San Francisco, I want to try to rank for "san francisco dentist" and not just "dentist." People are searching for san francisco dentist! So let's try to get in front of them.

Find out your current lead sources. How can you get new patients?

For great dental marketing, you should have information about how your patient reach to you so that you can enhance that part of your marketing. This is probably the single most important step to growth. If you don’t know what’s working how can you do more of it and grow, right?

You can give this duty to your receptionist and should give him/her appropriate reward.
Internet users are widely increasing and most of them search on web first and then decide where to go so you should invest some money on your site and your website should be attractive so that it force the patient to come to you. You don’t need pretty pictures or music.
For example, make sure your address and phone number are easy to find. I know this sounds simple but the truth is, 90+% of the people's sites have their contact information "hidden" on a "contact us" tab. Trust me patients aren't going to click there.

You should have someone that can popularize your website by creating a simple blog for your business. You can also do this yourself. Wordpress.com is a great place to start building a blog. Write interesting articles! For example a post about the "truth of teeth whitening" would definitely peak prospective patients interest. When you write these posts, link back to your site at the end so that patients can easily call your office and set an appointment.

I can also help you do this. Visit my other site for information on my dental marketing plan. Here is my site:

Dentists marketing online - they said it can't be done

Before reading this article, what are your thoughts about the internet? Is some place where people go to have fun or do you think this a real place where a business owner such as yourself can conduct business? You see, the world has changed, more people are consulting google as their advisor. These people also include your prospective patients. How do I know this?
Google is very transparent.

Do a search for the “google keyword adword tool”. This is a very neat tool that shows you exactly how many people are searching for a given keyphrase. Try to put in “san francisco dentists” for example. There are over 4,000 searches a month. This is a possibility of over 4,000 net new patients every month if you were number 1 for this keyphrase. How do you know they would convert into appointments? Well who in their right mind would go and search for “san Francisco dentists” just for fun? The answer: no one. These are buyers looking for a solution to a problem they have.

The bad news is this: Google has already ranked your competition on page 1. They are already benefiting from free traffic that Google provides. But the good news is this: Google is fair. Using the method described above, I can get you ahead of your competition pretty easily. In doing so, you will be become the authority in your niche. Not only will your result show up higher, you will push you competitors down.

Remember that “writing content for authority sites,” I mentioned above? Well these are sites as well and they can also be ranked. Soon you can become like one of my clients and own 5 out of the top 10 places in Google for your keyword. Imagine that. That’s like opening the yellow pages before it goes to your community and crossing out everyone’s name expect for yours.

Google rewards good service and great content. That’s what I focus on.
